Jaime Kicklighter is a CPA with over 15 years of experience helping small-to-medium sized businesses and their owners. She moved to Chicago in 2006 from Boise, Idaho where she worked as a public accountant for 5 years. She is originally from Montana, where she met her husband who is in the entertainment production business. They live on the Northwest side in Portage Park with their two dogs and two cats. She has served on number boards for local non-profits, but the majority of her volunteer efforts are currently focused on organizations that help rescue animals.
The most exciting and challenging aspect of her role as a CPA at a small firm, involves learning about each individual client and their business and helping them make decisions that directly impact the bottom line. Clients routinely put their trust in Jaime to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and explain the options available to them when problems arise. Jaime’s goal is to alleviate some of her clients' tax compliance burdens so that they can focus on growing their business.
