Startup Speed Date fosters new ventures in Chicago by helping entrepreneurs and developers form meaningful business relationships within a fun, structured setting. There are many websites where developers can showcase their skills, just like there are countless entrepreneurs pitching great ideas all over the city. But what is the best way to know if there is, in fact, chemistry between two people? Talking in person!

What is Startup Weekend – Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, taking place April 20th to the 22nd, during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more pitch ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, or presentation by Sunday evening.
