My long-term goal is to make a profound impact on the world. I continuously strive to positively change the way people behave and search for win-win situations in business and life. At the end of the day, I just want to help others be themselves. I celebrate oddity and independence.

Currently, I spend my time thinking about and developing new products, negotiating deals with offshore suppliers, importing goods, copy writing, and making customers ecstatic. I embrace my inherent weirdness and find a voice for it in the products my company sells. We are just looking for others with similar dispositions.

GigFunder was conceived while doing some consulting work with another music startup in Stockholm. At launch, it was the first crowdfunding site focused exclusively on tours. At this point, we are no longer developing it and I’d love to discuss my experience/help out new companies/entertain potential offers.

In consulting (HBR Consulting), I performed complex data analysis to leverage favorable client contract negotiations with vendors. With my team, I was responsible for managing the negotiation process and achieving significant cost savings. I continued working with HBR part-time while I bootstrapped GigFunder.

In banking, I forecasted and assessed credit and operating risks of commercial real estate investments (LaSalle Bank) and middle-market ($5mm – $200mm in revenue) commercial banking deals (Bank of Montreal).

In direct sales, I sold educational books and software door-to-door for two summers. I received awards for work ethic and finished my first summer #30 out of over 1,000 first year sales people. In my second year, I recruited and managed a top 50 sales team.
