Christopher Johnson is the founder and owner of the Johnsonese Brokerage.

Johnsonese Brokerage is a boutique insurance agency with a focus on the arts and entertainment. The firm’s business segments include film, theatre, and live event insurance. Johnson holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo. He is a licensed insurance producer in 27 states and has insured entertainment productions in each of them.

Johnson is a board member and treasurer at the Independent Filmmaker Project Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois Production Alliance. Johnson is also currently co-president of the University of Michigan Ross Alumni Club of Chicago.

Johnson has guest lectured on insurance at DePaul University, Columbia College, and Harrington College of Design.
