Mark Quick is a Computer Engineer with an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin. He has been creating and managing start-ups for over 15 years. He founded, scaled and exited SourceDogg a software platform for managing procurement processes and has since developed distilleries, cooperages and the award winning games company, 9th Impact.
9th Impact partners with TV studios to create unique game experiences that fans of the TV show love. The company started in 2014 and now has a core team of 12 developers, artists and designers based in Galway, Ireland.
9th Impact are the developers of Big Brother: The Game, an official format of the iconic TV show with a massively distributed competitor base, playing for a real cash prize.
Having achieved class leading engagement and conversion metrics across the first 2 seasons, the company is now partnering with traditional broadcasters to expand the franchise to territories globally.
Mark Quick is the lead game designer and is currently working on expanding Artificial Intelligence, community applications, in-game commerce and brand intelligence technologies within the game ecosystem.
