In preparation for The Pitch at Industry Days, IFP Chicago and the Chicago International Film Festival invite you to a step-by-step guide to crafting the perfect pitch. Now in its fourth year, The Pitch at Industry Days gives filmmakers the opportunity to present their projects in front of a live audience and a panel of industry judges. With the goal of spotlighting and elevating high quality work from Chicago and from the Midwest, The Pitch at Industry Days is designed to benefit projects currently in advanced development. The winning project will receive an awards package of in-kind services from Chicago-area production facilities and organizations—to include consultation, production, post-production services, and mentorship from industry decision-makers. Past winners have been invited to the Tribeca Film Institute All Access Fellowship, to IFP New York’s Project Forum Film Slate, and to Tribeca Film Institute’s TFI Network. Signature Move, a 2015 honorable mention, found critical traction at The Pitch at Industry Days and went on to premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival before screening at over 150 festivals around the world.
