Meg Herman Mentor Hours

Meg Herman, Director of Entrepreneurial Services at the Women’s Business Development Center, is a certified, professional business coach. She has helped people, especially aspiring women, start and successfully develop small businesses over 8 years there. She coaches individuals and groups, and facilitates development for people at the business concept level through about 3 years of successful business. Prior to serving at WBDC she provided professional coaching and organizational development thru her and her husband’s Oak Park based company, Managing Horizons. There she and Gil have, for 30 years, supported the business and not for profit communities to lead organizations in strengthening the quality of their services. She was a female escort—to sustain diversity in housing thru the Regional Oak Park River Forest Housing Center! She developed and managed the Coaching Practice with the Executive Service Corps. She holds a Master’s of Social work focusing on administration, policy and Organization from Jane Addams College at U of I. Meg now is a part of the Entrepreneur Leaders in Philanthropy and Women Leaders in Philanthropy for the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation.
