Invigorated by the challenges that small businesses and companies face in a very loud digital market place, Tim departed his full-time marketing gig for a trial by fire. COVERT NINE arrived in 2013 as a service-based consultancy of one. A small team of five passionate technologists and creatives now design and develop custom WordPress websites and digital marketing campaigns for some of Chicago's most well-known brands including Riot Fest, Havas, Harry Caray's, Aloha Poke Co, Randolph Street Market, Heaven's Door, Stolen Spirits, Red Frog Events, and Gateway Green.

Tim and the COVERT NINE team have been developing custom themes that work with the new Gutenberg editing experience, culminating in the release of their first plugin to WordPress.org known as C9 Blocks. More free Gutenberg-powered themes are on the way, as well as several plugins for improving client site management.
